Why is a 180°C+ Chamber Essential?

1. Direct Annealing for PEEK & PEI

  • Eliminates Warping & Internal Stress: Avoids loss of platform adhesion and deformation during post-processing.

  • Prevents Thermal Shock: No sudden temperature drops when removing parts.

  • Seamless Post-Processing: Set annealing cycles directly in the printer—e.g., maintain 180°C for 5 hours, then 120°C for 5 hours to fully anneal PEEK parts.

2. Ideal for PEI Printing

  • Optimized Temperature Range: Chamber temperature of 160°C-200°C ensures perfect extrusion, bonding, and reduced internal stress.

  • Integrated Drying System: Maintains <0.02% humidity, with built-in 150°C drying function.

  • Direct Annealing: Eliminates internal stress post-printing, improving mechanical strength and chemical resistance.

Why is Achieving 180°C+ Chamber Temperature So Difficult?

Challenges with High-Temperature Printing:

  • 70-80°C: The temperature limit for standard circuit boards, motors, and belts—exceeding this can cause failures.

  • 120°C: Requires high-temperature motors, belts, and effective shielding/insulation for electronic components.

  • 150°C: Demands a fully enclosed, heat-insulated chamber, specialized heat-resistant components, and multi-layer insulation.

  • 180-200°C: Needs aviation-grade thermal protection to fully isolate the chamber while maintaining external safety temperatures.
