XGRIDS PortalCam SLAM LiDAR System

Key Highlights

• Ultra-portable handheld SLAM LiDAR system under 900 g for fast indoor capture
• Optimized scan range for buildings, corridors, facilities, and construction sites
• One-touch mobile capture with professional 3D processing and sharing workflows

What Is the XGRIDS PortalCam?

The XGRIDS PortalCam is an ultra-portable SLAM LiDAR mapping system designed for rapid indoor and near-field spatial capture. By simply walking through a space, users can record spatially accurate 3D environments without reliance on GNSS or external positioning systems.

PortalCam integrates LiDAR sensing, a four-camera imaging array, and mobile processing into a single handheld device. This enables fast creation of realistic digital environments for documentation, visualization, and immersive applications.

PortalCam is best suited for indoor mapping, construction documentation, and facilities and BIM capture, where speed and mobility are critical.

The PortalCam Workflow

Capture

Users walk naturally while PortalCam records the environment.
Scanning is controlled and monitored through the LixelGO mobile application.

Process

Captured data is processed automatically using LCC Studio, generating 3D models in just a few clicks.
SDKs are available for custom or advanced workflows.

Apply

Users can edit, measure, annotate, and publish models, then share them instantly or integrate them into existing AEC, media, or visualization pipelines.

PortalCam Configurations

PortalCam is available in two official configurations.
Both configurations use the same core SLAM LiDAR hardware and software ecosystem.

The difference lies in deployment readiness, not scanning performance.

Choose the Right PortalCam Kit for Your Workflow

PortalCam is available in two professionally curated kits. Both deliver the same core SLAM LiDAR capture performance, but differ in field readiness, runtime capacity, and software capability.
